About Me

My name is Chris Gensheer. I am a husband to my amazing wife, Maggie (which, by looking at us, you would know that I got the better end of that deal!) We are the proud parents of three beautiful and hard to keep up with children, Maya (6) and Alex (4.5), and Jack (2, not pictured) and are having an interesting time learning what it means to be parents, as opposed to baby sitters and emergency preventers.

We have both completed graduate studies at Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, Mo., where I received my M.Div and Maggie has earned her Graduate Certificate. During seminary, we worshipped and worked with both Memorial Presbyterian Church (PCA) and  The Journey church (Acts 29), and loved every minute of it.

Now we are currently living in Santa Fe, NM where I am working with Christ Church Santa Fe on the pastoral staff.  It is an incredible group of people to be working for, with and serving as we seek to serve and show the city different what truly different God we worship and serve.

I am also a huge fan of movies, music and television (really, pop culture in all its glory), hanging out with friends, basketball, snow and skiing (separate or together), and reading interesting stuff. If you want to know more about those interests, you can check me out on Facebook.
